Brandix Casualwear Seeduwa plant certified for SA8000

We are proud to announce that Brandix Casualwear Seeduwa plant is one of the first companies in Sri Lanka to be certified for SA8000.

SA8000 is the world's best recognised qualification for Social Compliance. It is a comprehensive, global, verifiable standard for auditing and certifying compliance with corporate responsibility. This certification proves that the company’s Social Accountability System has been measured against a best practice standard and found fully compliant. The heart of the standard is the belief that all workplaces should be managed in such a manner that basic human rights are supported and that the management is prepared to accept full accountability.

Social Accountability International (SAI) developed the SA8000 standard. It is a U.S. based, nonprofit organization dedicated to the development, implementation and oversight of voluntary verifiable social accountability standards. Independent auditors, who are accredited by SAI, carry out the certification.
