I am happy to inform you that within a week following the unprecedented catastrophe, Brandix is fully operational with attendance levels back to normal and production standard hours at budgeted levels.

For this, we thank all our associates for their untiring efforts. The Brandix Team rallied around, fanning the affected areas, locating fellow colleagues, transporting them to safety and providing all necessary emergency care, accommodation and assistance. A dedicated team is assigned to provide housing and other long-term solutions to these associates.

We also wish to thank all our customers and vendors for their phenomenal support through calls and emails with offers of support throughout this trying period.

Brandix is also continuing their participation in the national relief efforts. The main areas of focus are – restoring clean drinking water supply for the displaced in partnership with the Water Resources Board which includes provision of water storage stations and cleaning of domestic wells around the coast in six districts and providing shelter by importing tents that can house up to twelve adults. Meanwhile, each SBU continues to carry out their relief projects in the affected areas.

2005 has arrived in a much different manner than any of us envisaged. We wish you a safe and peaceful new year.
