Brandix is delighted to inform you that Sri Lanka has been successful in obtaining duty free access to the EU market under the GSP+ scheme.  

The scheme, granting additional preferences to vulnerable developing countries that pursue good governance and sustainable development policies, has been fast tracked to apply from 01 July 2005. 

Sri Lanka 's application, having acceded to all required conventions, has already been approved. 

We are equally pleased to inform you that Brandix, with our backward intergration into Fabrics, Washing, Sewing and Packing Trims etc , is able to maximize on this scheme and provide you with  a 100% duty benefit on all our shipments to you. That is, any Brandix shipment which currently meets the criteria to gain a 40% duty benefit , will now automatically be eligible to enter the EU  at  100% duty free effective 01 July 2005. 

Again, due to our verticality, Brandix is also able to offer you the same 100% duty free benefits under regional cumulation guidelines as well (ie) where fabrics are procured from SAARC countries , there will be sufficient value addition in Sri    Lanka to result in a 100% duty free access status.
