Quenby Lanka Factory featured in Architettura OFX
Architettura OFX, the renowned Italian architectural journal has devoted four colour pages in their current issue to Quenby Lanka's state-of-the art office and factory complex. The journal, foremost among prestigious journals on architecture and design, is published bi-monthly in Milan. It features internationally recognized architects and their innovative projects from around the world.
The four pages with text in both Italian and English is titled La Nuova Sede Della Quenby Lanka Prints, Sri Lanka - The new Seat of the Quenby Lanka Prints, Sri Lanka. Along with the text by Monica Pietransanta, are colour photographs and drawings of the Quenby office and factory complex. As the article details, the project is the design of the new seat of Quenby Lanka Prints, which introduced the unique rotary screen printing plant for knitted and woven fabrics in Sri Lanka.
The photographs in the September/ October issue of this elegantly published magazine Architettura OFX clearly highlights that Quenby Lanka's architectural design is parallel to the current trends in international architecture. |
