Brandix
won the coveted 'Most Outstanding Exporter of the Year' award
at the National Awards for Export Excellence in 2003, in addition
to winning the Gold Award in the Apparel Sector.
Brandix emerged the overall national winners of both Nagaaki
Yamamoto Kaizen Award and Taiki Akimoto 5S Award 2004 making
it a historic event with both national awards won by one company.
We have also received numerous other awards and recognitions
including: Community Leader Awards, National Safety Awards,
Taiko Akimoto 5S Awards, National Productivity Awards, Kaizan
Awards, Mast Quality Awards, Liz Claiborne Achievement Award,
The Federated "Best Supplier" Award, Mast Industries Inc "Vendor
Award", Sag Harbour "Vendor Award", Liz Claiborne "Best Contractor"
Award and the Federated Merchandising Group "Five Star Award".
Brandix continuously demonstrates its commitment to responsible
business practices by actively pursuing ISO, SA8000 &
WRAP certification programmes at its various plants. The company's
commitment to the community at large was evident with Brandix
Finishing being recognised for environmental excellence at
the CIMA Community Leader Awards and by winning the President's
Environmental Excellence Award in 2005. A&E Lanka too
was recognised by CIMA as a “Community Leader”
and in 2006 was awarded the Excellence in Social Responsibility
Award by the American Apparel and Footwear Association in
the Preservation of the Environment Category.
